✍ Biography

    Jiancheng Chi received his B.Eng. degree in 2017 from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, and his M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in 2020 and 2025, respectively, from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Software, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China. From June 2023 to May 2024, he is a visiting scholar at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Japan. His research interests include the industrial Internet of Things, industrial big data, edge computing, and machine learning. He has published several papers in top journals, such as IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, and IEEE Network. He is a reviewer for several top journals, including IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, and IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine. He has won many scholarships at Tianjin University, including the Chinese Government-sponsored Study Abroad Scholarship, the First-class Academic Scholarship, the Lenovo Scholarship, and the Outstanding Youth Scholarship. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
